A man who purchased season tickets in section 304 told Local 2 that the stadium's roof was leaking during the Texans 17-6 win over Washington.

"I purchased club level seats last year in section 302, row N and we got soaked at about half of the games and had to stand at the top on several occasions. After complaining, they did switch us to different seats for this year in section 304 row N. At yesterday's game we got soaked again. In fact, our entire section was drenched. They gave us two free drink passes," the man said in a message to KPRC.

NRG Stadium released the following statement:

"In the second half of Sunday's Texans game, NRG Park experienced very heavy rain. Forecasts anticipated up to 3 inches of rain during a short amount of time. During this severe rain, roof leaks occurred over the stadium seating area. We apologize for any inconvenience to the fans. The leaks will be addressed and repaired as soon as possible."
