HOUSTON – A lawsuit was filed in Harris County Friday against the owner and the landlord of an after-hours night club that is allegedly creating a nuisance in north Houston.

The lawsuit says Acapulco Night Club at 10632 FM 1960 serves alcohol without a permit and harbors criminal activity. It also alleges the club violated Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission rules by selling alcohol after hours to underage patrons.

The lawsuit names Ernesto Gonzalez Dominguez, owner of the club, and J PAL Properties, Inc., owner of the land, as the defendants.

"Harris County law enforcement has been called to the Acapulco Night Club more than 120 times over the past two years," Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan said. "The list of offenses committed at this location is long. We cannot permit this business to continue endangering the community."

The Harris County Attorney's Office says police have responded to aggravated assaults, sex assaults, and drug activity at the club. It is seeking a temporary and permanent injunction to make the club stop its illegal activity.

The court could fine and jail the defendants and close down Acapulco Night Club for a year if the injunction is violated.
