Man found shot to death in his apartment parking lot

HOUSTON – Police are searching for leads after a man was discovered shot to death in his apartment complex.

The incident happened Saturday around 10:30 p.m. at the Kimberly Pointe apartments on West Airtex Boulevard and Brundage Drive.

Residents at the apartment complex  told police they heard a single gunshot.

According to police, one resident went to investigate and that is when he found a man shot once in the parking lot.

The victim, who lives at the apartment complex, died at the scene.

Police say there were no witnesses and the motive is still unknown.
