Teen accused of running over delivery driver during beer theft

HOUSTON – A teenager is facing charges for allegedly running over a beer delivery driver while trying to steal cases of beer.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office says the driver was making a delivery in the 9000 block of Louetta on May 29 when he saw a gray Dodge truck driving slowly by the beer truck. When the delivery driver came back outside of the store, he says three males were in the truck stealing cases of beer.

Deputies say the driver yelled at the suspects to stop. That's when the truck accelerated and ran over the driver, injuring his leg.

Connor Koy was behind the wheel of the Dodge, according to deputies. Koy, 17, is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
