When firefighters arrived, they said they found heavy fire coming from the two-story building.

Firefighters immediately pulled a second alarm because the fire was already in the attic and spreading quickly.

Four units in the complex suffered fire and water damage.

Firefighters said a man who was cooking left the apartment to check on his kids outside, that's when the fire started.

Fortunately, no one was hurt.
