HOUSTON – Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a deadly stabbing in southeast Houston.

Michael Walker, 49, is charged with murder. Authorities say turned himself in at the Houston Police Department's southeast police station Monday.

Walker confessed to the crime said that he and the victim were acquaintances and used drugs before the stabbing, according to police.

Officers found a 35-year-old victim in the parking lot of her apartment complex on 6705 Fairway Drive Sunday night.

Police say she was stabbed several times and later died from those wounds at Ben Taub Hospital.
