Burglars target CVS Pharmacy in NW Harris County Deputies: Store's live video feed helped alert police No description found
HARRIS COUNTY – Two men are on the run after they broke into a CVS Pharmacy in northwest Harris County, deputies said.
Investigators said the store had a live video feed monitored by a security company. The company called 911 after watching two men in hoodies inside the store on Highway 249 and Northpointe Boulevard.
Deputies said the men busted their way into the store around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday by breaking a pharmacy window.
The video showed that the men were only in the pharmacy and did not go into the main part of the store.
The pharmacy manager said he will have to take inventory of the drugs and equipment in the pharmacy to see what, if anything, was stolen.
The burglars got away before authorities arrived.
