Police release new images in deadly taqueria shooting in Arcola

$5,000 reward being offered for information leading to arrests

ARCOLA, Texas – Surveillance images were released of men police said were involved in a deadly shooting at a Mexican restaurant in Fort Bend County.

The shooting happened at the El Taco Regio Taqueria on FM 521 around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night in Arcola.

A father and son were both shot, police say.

Investigators say the father was shot twice and transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.

His son, Kenny Perez, 30, died at the scene. 

Police said a a woman was also struck in the foot by a bullet.

According to investigators, the gunman is about 5 foot 8 inches tall with a slender build. He was wearing red pants and a blue shirt that had a prominent logo on the front. He had closely cropped hair and was wearing a necklace made of beads, police said.

Another suspect has a bigger build and is about the same height. He was wearing a blue synthetic jacket and had sunglasses on top of closely cropped hair, said police.

Two other men were in the group that got into the confrontation.

One is about 5 foot 9 inches tall with a slender build and was wearing a blue shirt open at the collar and dark pants. He had a crew-cut hairstyle.

The other suspect was wearing a plaid shirt with a blue baseball cap and dark pants. He also was wearing a synthetic material jacket.

Police said one of the men may have the first name of 'Sergio.'
