Angleton school briefly put on lockdown after nearby shooting No description found
ANGLETON, Texas â One Angleton school was briefly put on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after a shooting nearby.
We're told one person was shot at Catalpa near Walker. The victim was flown by medical helicopter to a nearby hospital. Another person was detained by police.
Angleton ISD says the incident didn't involve any students or staff. An alternative school nearby was put on lockdown only as a precaution.
No word yet on what led to this shooting.
