First Mexican Film Festival opens at PlazAmericas Festival de Cine Mexicano will highlight films from Mexico No description found
HOUSTON – The red carpet opening for the first Mexican Film Festival in Houston happens tonight.
Festival de Cine Mexicano will highlight films from Mexico that showcase acting and directing talents from the country. Actor Roberto Sosa and actresses Gabriela de la Garza and Carmen Beato will be at the event.
All movies will be shown in Viva Cinema at the PlazAmericas. The newly remodeled theater regularly shows English films with Spanish subtitles, as well as films from Mexico, Spain, Brazil and Argentina.
The opening begins Friday night at 7.
