THE WOODLANDS – Authorities are hoping a newly released photo will help them identify several teens wanted in connection to a series of acid bombs in Montgomery County.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said at least nine different incidents happened over the weekend in the western edge of The Woodlands in the area of FM 2978 and Woodlands Parkway.

"It's scary honestly. I don't know what to think or how to protect my family from an attack like that," said Holly Duke after hearing a group of teenage boys who spent the weekend throwing homemade acid bombs at homes.
Officials said one person was injured after he picked up one of the devices and it exploded in his hand.
"You could have pieces of plastic covered in acid in your eye, you could result," said Montgomery County fire marshal Jimmy Williams.
Authorities said the improvised explosive devices are generally made from small plastic bottles filled with chemicals and foil or metal objects. A chemical reaction occurs causing the devices to explode when they are shaken and thrown.
If you discover one of these devices, step away and call 911.
Investigators have identified several persons of interest. Surveillance video shows a group of young teens buying some of the materials needed to make the acid bombs.
While these bombs were popping off all over the neighborhood, a very clever sheriff's deputy decided to check out a park where he knows kids hang out. The hunch paid off, and the deputy found a large cache of materials used to make the bombs and the materials led to the store where they were bought.
If you recognize any of the individuals in the photo, you're asked to call the Montgomery County Crime Stoppers tip line at 800-392-STOP (7867). Tips can also be submitted online.
