HOUSTON – Police have filed charges against the suspect wanted in the stabbing death of a Houston man.
Houston police are searching for Julio Cesar Reyes-Gallegos, 31, who is charged with murder.
Authorities said Reyes-Gallegos and 51-year-old Demetrio Vasquez-Garcia got into a confrontation just before 10 p.m. Saturday in the 9000 block of Beechnut in southwest Houston. At some point, Vasquez-Garcia was stabbed multiple times.
Vasquez-Garcia was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in critical condition, but died the next day.
Upon further investigation, police identified Reyes-Gallegos as the suspect and he remains on the run.
