No injuries after 3-alarm fire at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital

HOUSTON – Houston fire crews were called to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital on Astoria Boulevard for a three-alarm fire that began shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday.

Officials said the fire started in a filing room in the professional building.

Fire officials said the sprinkler system helped keep the fire contained to one area. The fire did not affect the emergency room or patients, so no one was evacuated.

One firefighter was treated for smoke inhalation.
