Officers arrest one of the state's most wanted sex offenders Juan Jesus Martinez apprehended in Dallas

DALLAS – A Texas man on the state's top ten most wanted sex offender list was arrested in Dallas.
Officers with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations , Texas Highway Patrol and U.S. Marshal Service North Texas Fugitive Task Force arrested Juan Jesus Martinez, 62, on Friday.
Investigators said Martinez has a violent past that includes aggravated kidnapping and rape.
He was wanted for parole violation and sex offense against child-fondling, said investigators.
Martinez's arrest was the result of a tip to Texas Crime Stoppers .
"So far in 2013, DPS and other agencies have arrested 21 of Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including eight gang members. And, $47,000 in rewards have been paid for tips that resulted in arrests," investigators said in a press release.
