After searching the building, they found no sign of entry.
They called in a Houston Fire Department ladder truck so they could inspect the roof.
Officers found the burglar bored a hole in the roof to get inside, then used a rope to climb in through the ceiling.
Surveillance video shows the man shimmying under the security gate around the pharmacy.
He took an unknown amount of hydrocodone and other drugs, then used the rope and shelves to climb out and get away.
Police noted that the suspect seemed very methodical, professional and practiced.
He was also wearing an all black ninja-type clothing.
