HOUSTON – Investigators are looking for a man who has been accused of sexually assaulting two young boys who his parents were fostering.
According to court records, the parents of Michael Wies once ran a foster care home called "Rainbows and Moonbeams" out of their Tomball home on Juergan Road.
Court records claim that a volunteer at the foster home saw Wies, 22, rape a 5-year old foster child. The volunteer called Children's Protective Services and an investigation was launched.
A 6-year old boy also being cared for by Wies's parents was also abused, detectives said.
Weis has been charged with sexual assault of a child, but he has not been taken into custody.
According to investigators, the alleged sexual assault happened in 2009.
Sources close to the investigation said Wies' parents are not cooperating. Officials said the parents have asked for mental evaluations, clamming their adult son is "mentally retarded."
Investigators said the parents have not allowed detectives to interview their son for fear he may admit to something he did not do.
According to investigators, the alleged sexual assault happened in 2009.
Records show the home where the alleged abuse took place has been sold and is no longer a foster care home.
