HOUSTON – A man has been charged in connection with his girlfriend's death.
Ronald Deshaun Green, 27, has been charged with murder and abandoning/endangering a child.

Houston police said Green fatally stabbed Cecelia Sanders, 27, in front of her children, ages 3 and 8 months, in her apartment at the Yale Village apartments in the 5600 block of Yale early Monday.
Sanders' mother found the body, police said. The 8-month-old was found crying next to the body and the 3-year-old was found hiding in a closet, investigators said.
Green is the father of the 3-year-old.
Green was taken into custody on Monday morning and confessed to the killing, detectives said.
The motive for the slaying has not been released.
