Pickup truck ends up on top of 2 cars in crash
No description foundALVIN, Texas â A pickup truck ended up on top of two cars at a grocery store on Wednesday.
Alvin police said the incident happened at the HEB store on East South Street about 11 a.m.
Investigators said the man who was driving the pickup truck was backing up and a pedal got stuck.
The pickup truck first went on top of a Nissan Maxima and then slammed over a Saturn.
No one was inside the cars, which were parked, at the time of the wreck, police said.
The truck driver was arrested for an unrelated reason. Detectives said there was a warrant out for his arrest for unpaid child support.
Police have not said if the driver will face charges or be cited in connection with the crash.
