Woman killed inside Kingwood apartment Investigators believe she was strangled No description found
KINGWOOD, Texas – Police are investigating the death of a woman at a Kingwood apartment as a homicide.
According to detectives, a man at the Woodland Hills Apartments on Lake Hills Drive and Woodland Hills Drive called his mother to tell her he was suicidal on Saturday.
Police and paramedics showed up at the apartment and found a woman dead.
The woman was the man's girlfriend, and her 8 year-old son was inside the apartment, said police.
Detectives believe the victim may have been strangled.
The cause of death will be determined by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office.
The man was taken into custody. He has not been charged.
