HOUSTON – A man has been accused of firing shots on Texas Southern University's campus.
Dontelly Dickerson, 21, has been charged with felony exhibition of firearms.

According to Texas Southern University police, Dickerson was visiting his cousin and two friends at the Tierwester Oaks Apartments, 3650 Blodgett, on campus on April 17.
Dickerson fired multiple shots in the air in the parking lot, investigators said.
Police said they found the gun used in the shooting inside a unit at the complex.
Detectives said they questioned Dickerson, a Houston Community College student, on April 19 and he confessed to taking the weapon on campus and firing the shots.
Detectives have not said why Dickerson fired the shots.
TSU officials said the students Dickerson was visiting have been suspended for the semester.
Dickerson was arrested on Wednesday.
