DWI suspect recites Lord's Prayer when pulled over No description found
FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – The power of prayer didn't work for one man accused of driving while intoxicated.
On April 20, Friendswood police stopped Michael Kennedy, 28, in the 1500 block of Friendswood Drive after he ran a red light and narrowly escaped an accident.
As the officer approached Kennedy, he noticed signs of intoxication and ordered him to a field sobriety test.
Kennedy was asked to recite the alphabet but instead he recited the Lord's Prayer. He was arrested and charged with DWI and driving with a suspended license.
