Woman accused of hiring hitman to kill husband faces judge Brittany Martinez held on no bond No description found
HOUSTON – A Cypress woman accused of hiring a hitman to kill her husband faced a judge on Tuesday.
According to court documents, Brittany Martinez was having marital problem with her husband, Adrian Martinez, a Houston firefighter, so she tried finding a hitman to murder him.
Investigators said Brittany asked her friend to be her hit man.
Martinez offered $500 upfront and was willing to pay up to $2,000 to her friend after he killed her husband, according to court documents.
Martinez is charged with soliciting capital murder.
She's being held in the Harris County jail on no bond.
