Conrad Murray's Texas medical license suspended
Murray convicted of involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson
HOUSTON – The doctor convicted of killing Michael Jackson can't practice medicine in Texas.
Dr. Conrad Murray's license has been suspended by the Texas Board of Medical Examiners.
Murray, who worked at the Armstrong Medical Clinic in the Acres Homes area for many years, was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in 2011.
Murray is serving a four-year sentence, but he is appealing that conviction.
It is possible that his license could be revoked in the future.
Murray's licenses to practice medicine in California and Nevada have also been suspended.
