Man accused of sexually assaulting 12-year-old girl

KATY, Texas – A Katy man has been accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl.

Investigators said in July, Joseph Christopher Suber sexually assaulted the girl by fondling her and forcing her to perform sexual acts on him.

Officials said Suber also video taped the incident and sent the video to someone else.

Later, officials said the girl began getting text messages demanding she do more acts. The girl then told her father about what was going on, investigators said.

A Harris County Sherriff's Department deputy traced the number back to Suber, officials said.

Suber was later arrested and charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14. His bond was set at $30,000.
