Students accused of robbing janitor at gunpoint

HOUSTON – Three high school students have been accused of committing a crime at their school.

The three students are accused of assaulting and robbing one of their school's janitors at gunpoint at Worthing High School last November.

Houston Police have arrested 17-year-olds Za'terriun Bolden and Jarmarcus Norris. Police are still looking for 19-year-old Jamail Block.

According to court documents, Bolden and Block walked into a classroom after school and attacked the janitor. Investigators said the teens had their faces covered when they held her at gunpoint and demanded her keys to the school. The documents state that the janitor handed over her keys and she was then pushed into a chair.

Investigators said surveillance video shows Bolden and Block going into the classroom while Norris waits outside.

After being questioned, detectives said Bolden told them he was in an after-school program that day when Block suggested they steal the keys from the custodian. Police said Norris told them that he was the lookout in the hallway.

All three students have been charged with aggravated robbery.
