Suspect Arrested In Woman's Killing Denzell Glover Accused Of Killing Erica Hardy
HOUSTON – A teenager has been charged in connection a fatal shooting at a northeast Harris County apartment complex.
Denzell Glover, 18, has been arrested and charged with capital murder in the death of Erica Hardy, 32.
Harris County sheriff's deputies said Hardy was shot during a robbery at the Haverstock Hill Apartments at 5619 Aldine Bender Road at Lee Road at 5:30 a.m. Thursday.
Neighbors said they heard gunshots and then found Hardy lying on the ground near a sport utility vehicle.
"I heard the gunshot and I woke up," resident Monique Thomas said. "I seen the lady was taking her last breath. We didn't want to touch her or anything. We was just so scared. She just died right there."
