HOUSTON – Bombshells were dropped in the trial of a man who has been accused of hiring his son to kill his wife.
Rev. Tracy Burleson, 46, and his son, William Darnell Fuller, 21, have been charged with murdering Pauletta Burleson, 56, at the pastor's home on Greenloch Lane near Greenrock Lane in northeast Harris County on May 18, 2010.

Investigators said Tracy Burleson paid Fuller $2,000 to kill Pauletta Burleson.
One of the first witnesses to testify in the trial was John Ross, Pauletta Burleson's son. He told the jury that his mother and stepfather had a violent relationship.
Ross said he paid for his mother's funeral. He said Tracy Burleson refused to contribute.
Later, Rosie Williams testified that she was a member of the Burlesons' church and she said she had a sexual relationship Tracy Burleson.
Williams said that Pauletta Bureleson confronted her about the affair one month before she was killed.
About a week before the slaying, on May 12, 2010, Burleson's church, the First New Mount Calvary Baptist Church, was destroyed by fire.
A woman described at Tracy Burleson's mistress, Tyonne Palmer, 32, was charged with tampering with evidence.
