HOUSTON – A man was arrested after a teenager's body was found in her closet three years ago.
Joseph Michael Payne, 32, was charged with capital murder in the death of Trang Michelle Van, 18.

Van was found dead inside her home on Lazy Lagoon in Northwest Harris County on July 2, 2009. Van's father found her body. Her cause of death was not released.
Payne has been in custody at the Harris County Jail since February for unrelated charges including sexual assault and possession of child pornography.
Van had just graduated Cypress Ridge High School.
No other details were released in the case.
