Galveston’s viral star Marley the painting penguin is up for Penguin of the Year 🐧

Get ready to cheer for a Texas icon, Marley the Penguin!

Recently, Marley went viral after showcasing her unique painting skills, gaining over 150 million views worldwide. Now, she’s up for a huge honor: Penguin of the Year.

Marley, the last Texas penguin standing in the “March of the Penguin Madness” competition, is currently in the top 6 out of all the penguins around the globe.

The competition works a lot like March Madness, but the public gets to decide who wins. Voting for the next round started Sunday, April 13 and goes to early Tuesday, April 15.

The contest is set up like March Madness, but it’s the public who picks the winner.
