Traffic FAQ: If I see a pothole on the road, who do I contact to report it? No description found
If you’ve ever wondered how to deal with potholes in Houston, look no further than here. We’ve got you, Houston.
In recent years, the City of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner have streamlined the process of reporting potholes. We’ve got good news for you -- it’s still up and running for you to use.
You can dial 311, or 713-837-0311 if located outside of Houston. You can also download the Houston 311 smartphone app or report the pothole online .
The city said potholes are usually filled within one to three days, but may take longer during high-volume days. The aim is to have them filled by the next business day.
If you look at the city-run website , you can see where potholes have been reported and the status of requests. It’s a fun page if you like this kind of thing (we unabashedly do). Enjoy a visit if you’re into traffic geekery too.
Has your vehicle been damaged by a pothole? Here’s what you need to know about possibly getting the city to pay for it from KPRC 2′s Amy Davis.
Got traffic questions? We’ve got answers. Let us know what your question is and we will try to look into it.
