HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Peggy McCay, who played Caroline Brady on “Days of Our Lives,” died Sunday. She was 90.
According to Soap Opera News, McCay’s cousin said she died in her sleep from natural causes.
McCay was best known for her role as the matriarch of the Brady family.
According to Soap Hub, she originated the role in 1983 and briefly left the show before reprising the role for three decades.
She was nominated for both primetime and daytime Emmys and won the award in 1991.
