On Saturday, Eric completed the swim portion of the IRONMAN World Championship. His completed the swim portion in one hour and 16 minutes at a 01:59 min./100m pace.

KPRC2 and Eric are teaming up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to do something amazing. LLS does incredible work to assist blood cancer patients and their families. It also funds cutting-edge research to advance treatments and to zero in on a cure.

Last weekend, two donors to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society were randomly selected to receive autographed balls donated by the Houston Texans and Houston Astros.

The signed Whitney Mercilus ball went to a local woman who gave in memory of her husband who survived for six years with a stem cell transplant.

The donor who was drawn for the baseball autographed by pitcher Lance McCullers wrote back to Eric saying, "Thank you for this message and hope your endeavors are successful!! We would like for KPRC to keep the baseball and put it in your auction, hopefully that will earn more (money) for your cause."
