HOUSTON – Originally from Peru, Dr. Luis A. Campos obtained his medical degree at Edinburgh University Medical School in Scotland. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, D.C., and his fellowship in cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Board certified in cardiovascular diseases and internal medicine, Dr. Campos started his cardiology practice in 1974. His clinical interests include complex coronary and peripheral interventions, cardiac rehabilitation and the emotional and spiritual aspects of health.

Dr. Campos currently serves as Medical Director of the Congestive Heart Failure Program at Memorial Hermann Memorial City. He has received numerous awards for both his medical and humanitarian work in establishing medical missions to Peru.
