Another hot muggy day ahead for Southeast Texas! Expect temperatures to be a bit warmer than Saturday with highs near 94 degrees.
Like Saturday there will be isolated/scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially through the warmest heat of the afternoon. Coverage should be less than Saturday and there are no expectations of severe weather.
Plan to continue with any outdoor plans you may have but prepare to take a break while a shower or thunderstorm passes by.
The start of the week will be very much like today with the changes of the week happening Tuesday into Wednesday as a front comes into the region and stalls, triggering possibly heavy showers and thunderstorms during that period.
Look for “some” shower chances to stay in the forecast the rest of the week.
