HOUSTON – A hard freeze warning has been issued for parts of southeast Texas Friday night.
The warning is in effect until 8 a.m. Saturday.

Temperatures are expected to fall to, or below, 24 degrees overnight.
Pipes, sensitive plants and outdoor pets should be protected as necessary.
The hard freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. The conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
