Storms continue through Monday morning

Strongest storms likely set up north of Houston.
Overnight Through Monday:

Sunday night, Thunderstorms north of Houston produced heavy downpours leading to flash flooding, strong winds there was even a report of a funnel cloud in Grimes and a possible tornado in Trinity county. The severe storm potential isn’t done just yet, storms will continue to move east and eventually south into Monday morning. A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 11 PM tonight that now Montgomery county.

Overnight storms remain north of Houston, It isn’t until early Monday morning around 3 am through 10 am where a line of scattered storms will move through the Houston Metro. By the afternoon the storms will move out and sunshine returns through the afternoon with highs reaching the mid 80s.

Scattered shower and storms with heaviest east of Houston.
By 9:30 storms continue to push off the coast.

Thunderstorms have been slow moving and training ( going over the same locations over and over again ) across northern counties bringing flash flood warnings and many still under a flood watch through Monday morning.

Still can’t rule out some heating-of-the-day showers during the first week of May. We are still waiting on that first 90° day of the year, but next weekend may give us our last taste of spring!
