CSN Houston To Air 10 Astros Exhibition Games

CSN Houston , a partnership between the Houston Astros, Houston Rockets and the NBC Sports Group, today announced that the network will air 10 live, high-definition Astros Spring Training games with full pre and postgame shows. Last season, just two Astros exhibition games were televised.

Astros Spring Training coverage on CSN Houston includes games against 10 different opponents from both the American and National Leagues. Nine of the 10 televised games will be played in Kissimmee, Florida, at Osceola County Stadium while one will be the Mar. 29 exhibition game at Minute Maid Park vs. the Chicago Cubs.

 

The first 2013 telecast will be on Thursday, Feb. 28 vs. the New York Yankees (Noon CT). CSN Houston will also debut a new edition of Astros Field Pass, the team's monthly magazine show, on Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. CT.
