Lamar Miller signs with Houston Texans, reports say

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans have reportedly made another splash in free agency, signing running back Lamar Miller, according to multiple media reports.

Miller played all 16 games for the Miami Dolphins in 2015, rushing for 872 yards and 8 touchdowns.

Texans may remember Miller from last October when he torched Houston for 175 yards rushing and a touchdown on the ground and through the air.

He was drafted out of Miami (Fl.) in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The news comes the same day the Texans reportedly signed free agent QB Brock Osweiler.

The team still has running backs Alfred Blue, Jonathan Grimes (free agent), Chris Polk (free agent) and Akeem Hunt on the roster. The Texans released Arian Foster last week.

The Texans have also added offensive lineman Jeff Allen, per multiple reports. Allen is a former second round pick who made 36 starts over the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
