HOUSTON – The Houston Texans have signed free agent QB Brock Osweiler, according to multiple media reports.

Osweiler was with the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos last season, mostly as Peyton Manning's backup, but he started seven games when Manning was injured.

He completed 61.9 percent of his passes and threw for 10 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 2015.

The 25-year-old was drafted out of Arizona State in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

The Texans still have have quarterbacks Brian Hoyer, Brandon Weeden (free agent), Tom Savage and B. J. Daniels on the roster, so it's unclear if any of them will remain with the team.

Houston also reportedly signed running back Lamar Miller, who played the last four seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

The Texans have also added offensive lineman Jeff Allen, per multiple reports. Allen is a former second round pick who made 36 starts over the last four seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.
