J.J. Watt suffers elbow injury

HOUSTON – The Houston Texans' injury list continues to grow

Thursday, defensive tackle J.J Watt went down in the morning practice with an elbow injury.

Watt left practice and was taken to Reliant Stadium for X-rays.

Thursday afternoon, Gary Kubiak said Watt suffered a dislocated elbow and will be out an extended period of time. Kubiak was not specific on Watt's return, but was confident it will not affect his availability for the season opener.
