Police: IHOP robbed by men wearing clown masks

HOUSTON – Police are looking for two men they said robbed an IHOP while wearing clown masks.  

According to police, around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, the two men in clown masks entered an open door in the back of the restaurant on Highway 249. Police said, they held the employees at gunpoint and took about $100 from the cash register. No customers were in the restaurant, police said.

Police said the IHOP had been robbed several times in the past.

No one was injured during the robbery.
