Whataburger goes to homecoming with Friendswood teen

FRIENDSWOOD, Texas – Whataburger just made a Friendswood high school freshman's year.

Ninth-grader Grace Kempken asked Whataburger on Twitter earlier this month if it would be her homecoming date.

Little did she know that the Texas-based fast food chain would say "Yes!"

According to the Friendswood ISD Facebook page, Grace was called to the front office at school on Friday morning. She was then greeted by a Whataburger representative and the Whataburger mascot.

And what's homecoming without a Texas-sized mum? Grace also received a homecoming mum with a small Whataburger french fry carton.

"A huge thank you to @Whataburger for being the best in the world!" Grace tweeted.
