Vehicle fire cleared on Beltway 8 eastbound at Greenspoint

HOUSTON – Several lanes have reopened Monday after firefighters worked to clear a vehicle fire eastbound on North Beltway 8 at Greenspoint. 

According to Houston TranStar, the car was in the left shoulder and the left and center lanes were shut down just after 6:15 a.m.

It is unknown how or why the vehicle caught fire. The condition of the driver is unknown.
