"I've never been a nervous guy, I actually love pressure," he said. "A lot of people go to big meets and they're like wow this is like one of the biggest meets of my life. To me, it's just another 100 meters. I've ran against the same guys before."

Jamaica is one of the USA's biggest threats. English Gardner is ready to reclaim the 100-meter title. "There's been a little drought in the 100 meters," she said. "Jamaica has definitely reigned but it's time for the tables to turn, so my job is to go out there and perform as best as I can and bring my country a gold medal."

Three-time Olympian Justin Gatlin is also going up against a strong Jamaican opponent, Usain Bolt, but he's not overlooking anyone.

"Last couple of Olympics you've seen so many people rise up and become Olympic stars and make a name for themselves so you can't take anything away from the six other guys that are going to line up as well," Gatlin said.
