SUV t-bones car carrying child in northwest Houston; 2 hospitalized, police say

HOUSTON – Two women are recovering in the hospital after a SUV t-boned a car carrying a child in northwest Houston. 

Police say the driver of a Dodge SUV ran a red light on Langfield and W. Little York at around 2:45 a.m. and crashed into the side of another car traveling eastbound.

The impact caused the SUV to rollover and land upside down. 

Firefighters had to rescue the driver from the SUV. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition. 

The woman inside the other car was treated for minor injuries. The child was not hurt and was turned over to relatives.
