Two juveniles said that while they were walking through the neighborhood treat-or-treating, an intoxicated man approached them as they walked past his home. The trick-or-treaters said the man threatened them and pulled out a handgun. The two ran away and reported the incident to adults.

Deputies said that when they went to the home, the suspect, identified as Christopher Sterling Edwards, was standing by the doorway of his home with his wife. Deputies said Edwards grabbed his wife and pulled her into the home against her will and shut the door. Deputies forced the door open and detained Edwards.

The juveniles identified Edwards as the man who threatened them.

Edwards was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Harris County jail. His bond was set at $60,000.
