HOUSTON - When James Kelly came to work early morning to Bandit of Texas he quickly realized something was wrong.
There were tire tracks behind the business, and just a few feet away several pieces of heavy machinery were now missing.
A look at the businesses surveillance video revealed a group of five thieves, in two separate vehicles, had broken in early Monday morning.
From there, they took their time stealing -- about three hours in total.
Kelly, the manager at Bandit of Texas said, "It's kind of scary to know that they can get in here and they weren't worried about it."
In all, the bandit burglars got away with loader, a chipper, two trailers and more.
The total take was valued at $100,000.
That included a piece that belonged to a customer.
"I've already called him and told him his machine was ready. So I had to call him back and say don't get your machine. It's not here no more," explained Kelly.
Now, the business is hoping someone will recognize either these thieves or the very unique features on the vehicles they used in the heist.
They want the crooks caught, but just as importantly their stolen items recovered.
"When you're not selling and you don't have it to sell, it does come out of everybody's pocket eventually," said Kelly.
