Thieves break into several cars near UH campus

HOUSTON – Police are looking into several vehicle break-ins at off-campus housing near the University of Houston.

Houston police said it started getting calls at around 7:40 a.m. Tuesday morning from the area of 4459 MacGregor Way.

Police said callers reported someone broke into their vehicles and stole personal items inside.

HPD is looking into who did this and what items were stolen.
