BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas – Authorities have captured an inmate who briefly escaped custody in Brazoria County Wednesday morning.
According to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office, the inmate escaped from the county jail in the 3600 block of County Road 45 shortly before 8 a.m.

He was found hiding behind the building and was taken back into custody.
No one was injured.
