Sagemont Church remembers fallen soldiers with 38,000 flags

HOUSTON – Members of a Houston church remembered fallen soldiers Sunday with 38,000 flags.

The Sagemont Church memorial garden was covered in red, white and blue to remember fallen Texas soldiers from every battle in which they have fought, from the days of the Republic of Texas back in 1836 to the present.

Sagemont Church encourages Houstonians to come and visit the memorial.

The theme is "Every Flag Has a Name," so guests are encouraged to personalize the experience by leaving names of fallen loved ones on a memorial wall.
